Ministry of Public Works of Madagascar Sends off Students
On September 6, the Ministry of Territorial Rehabilitation, Housing and Public Works of Madagascar organized a farewell ceremony for students sponsored by CRBC to start their study in China. This time, a total of 15 Madagascan students will start their 5-year engineering study in Chang’an University.
Over 20 government officials of Madagascar attended the ceremony under the leadership of Hajo Andrianainarivelo, the Minister of Territorial Rehabilitation, Housing and Public Works.
In his speech, Hajo Andrianainarivelo noted that CRBC Scholarship is Madagascar’s first enterprise-funded scholarship since China and Madagascar established diplomatic relations over 40 years ago, which is of far-reaching significance. He highly praised and extended gratitude for CRBC’s proactive performance of its social responsibilities and concrete actions CRBC has taken, and hoped that the parties could keep expanding the cooperation to more fields.
Representative of the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar spoke highly of CRBC’s proactive performance of its social responsibilities and praised this international student program as a concrete practice to accelerate the win-win cooperation between China and Madagascar.
